Postpartum Body

Motivational Blib Blob

What is your postpartum body image? Do you love your body?

Mental Health See-Saw

I’m 8 months postpartum and I still have 1.5 stone to loose to be pre- pregnancy weight. I used to think that I was FAT before I got pregnant. During pregnancy I put on 5 stones. I’ve lost 3.5 stones since giving birth and I’m learning how to love my body and myself again. I’m learning that throughout my adult life I had let myself to be brainwashed which had let me to swaying from size to size like an animal in the tree. When I weighed 11 stones I hated myself, when I weighed 10 stones I wasn’t good enough and when I weighed 9 stones I literally hadn’t had any breast left and felt not feminine. I had jumped up to 12 stones ( I had eaten away stress at work) and I felt appalled with myself. I became pregnant and my weight spiralled to triumphing 17 stones…

If you have ever suffered from a mental health disorder you know what it feels like to have a constant battle with your mind.

Look after yourself, have a mental health issue under control, live your life by enjoying it and BE PROUD.

BE PROUD of who you are because you are the warrior!

The warrior who haven’t given up and who has been able to embrace this part of their life living it to the fullest.

Spread the awareness of mental health to those who still follow deeply embedded in the society stereotypes.

– Vulnerable

Worrying

Motivational Blib Blob

What do you do when you worry?

Mental Health See-Saw

If you suffer from anxiety I bet that you worry a lot. Worrying acts like a cushion protecting you from falling down into the abyss of anxiety. You are convinced that you need it because you would be lost without it. You keep telling yourself and others who have noticed your worrying pattern that it’s always good to have ‘a plan b’. Deep inside you are tired but you are ploughing through to keep yourself and your loved ones ‘safe’. Are they really safe? How can you protect them? You can protect them by being a good and sensible human being. Your plan won’t save them, your plan gives you a false impression that you would protect them. In reality, you waste your time, the time you could spend with your loved ones instead of planning.

If you ever worry and start making a plan based on anxious thoughts and…

Anxiety

Motivational Blib Blob

Is it an excuse or pure avoidance?

Mental Health See-Saw

If you have ever suffered from anxiety I’m sure you are familiar with self- coping strategy which I call ‘safety net’.

What is it?

The safety net is an option or an alternative which you give yourself just in case you don’t feel like doing sometimes or you experience anxiety symptoms.

It’s often criticised by proffesionals with fairly narrow minds who present a strict book approach. They claim that keeping an alternative and using it because you don’t want to take part in an activity feeds anxiety or depression and makes your state of mind worse. Your state of mind suppose to get worse because you AVOID the activity. I strongly disagree with the word- AVOIDANCE. You would start to avoid taking part in an activity if you purposefully and frequently cancel your plans because of your inner self inflicted fear. You are the judge and you are a responsible…

When you wake up in the vile mood you can do three things:

1. Go back to sleep because it’s very likely that you are simply tired.

2. Take it easy but do not procrastinate, revisit your plan of the day and make it simpler.

3. Take a good care of your self, everyone is entitled to a bad day and self-care is crucial to get through it.

Festivities of Annoyance

Motivational Blib Blob

During this pre-festive period there a many people who are willing to play a tune of annoyance to you. Each of them is very, very unique and individual. They just know how to strike a chord to irritate you and make you feel like you want to rip the hair off your head. My advice to you is to actively meditate. The active meditation is made of conscious presence in the reality and ignorance of stupidity happening around you.

For instance, I like to switch off and focus on my Christmas tree. I admire the ornaments, their colours, a tree and its needles. I find it therapeutic and calming.

But still… why is the world full of twats?
