Sweet Talking

Life is real, Surreal thoughts

Keep sweet talking to me…

Mental Health See-Saw

I SEE
OH I SEE
THAT LOOK IN YOUR EYE
OH WHAT A LOOK
THE ANGER I SEE
COULD MAKE FLESH COOK
BUT WHAT I HEAR
OH DEAR
WHAT I HEAR
YOU KEEP SWEET TALKING ME
KEEP THAT SWEET TALKING
KEEP THAT SWEET TALKING COMING
THOSE SUGAR WORDS TASTE FOUL
AND I KNOW
THE PAST YOU TOOK
THE PRESENT YOU LOOK
AND THE FUTURE WON’T BE THE SAME
YOU KEEP SWEET TALKING ME
KEEP THAT SWEET TALKING
KEEP THAT SWEET TALKING COMING
THOSE SUGARY VOWELS HOWL
THE PAST YOU TOOK
THE PRESENT YOU LOOK
AND THE FUTURE WON’T BE THE SAME

Mental Cloud

Motivational Blib Blob

How to live with a mental cloud above your head ?

Mental Health See-Saw

When the mental cloud of being idle comes and grabs your soul making you feel worthless, miserable and unprepared for a day ahead don’t think about yourself in a negagive way. Instead pull through the day by following a list. A to do list is a simple but efficient way of putting your day in order. It doesn’t need to be written down it can stay in your head ( if it doesn’t cause you mentally too much pressure). After ticking one task off the list you will feel a sense of relief and on the top of that you will experience a wave of relaxing sensation. The relaxing sensation derives from the fact that you have made yourself occupied with something else apart from your problems. Putting it in a simpler way you’ve given your mind a well deserved break and you are experiencing benefits of it.

Anxious Existence After the Incident

Precious Experiences

How to cope with anxiety after the incident? How to cope with its symptoms? What does it feel like to be struck by the anxiety attack?

Mental Health See-Saw

When you live with anxiety for many years you get use to it. It becomes your partner for life. It’s not the most pleasant acquaintance of all times. I would say you treat it as a very annoying colleague from work who happens to sit next to you. You can’t get rid of them (obviously) or completely separate yourself from their presence. You just work out your own clever ways to exist alongside them leading fairly good & satisfying life ( if you’ve already learnt to appreciate it). At times, you don’t even notice them anymore. You treat them as something completely acceptable and relatively easy to deal with. Until…. until something unexpectedly unpleasant happens. You come up against the problem like a champion leaving others amazed of how well you handled the issue. You are proud of yourself but deep down you know that you are about to be…

Mental Health See-Saw

I was raised as a person who was meant to follow the path of the Roman Catholic Church. I refused to adhere to it and as a result of my decision I faced fair amount of prejudice. When I was a teenager I searched for people who would soothe my battered soul and who would understand me.
Unfortunately, I searched and I experienced faiths but I didn’t find any fairness and understanding which I was looking for.
I do believe in God because it gives me comfort but I also follow my own path of being a decent human being. I adore Buddhism and its principles and values. I’m not a Buddhist and I will never label myself as one but Buddhism has a special place in my heart. It has helped me to understand the true beauty & meaning of life. Thich Nhat Hanh is my hero.

Crash

Precious Experiences

What happens when a highly sensitive person flies high from the excitement to tragically crash and meet the sorrow combined with the reality?

Feelings of hurt, sadness , failure , disappointment and anger start to pour down into a pot of one’s existence.

Nobody wants to be a part of this situation, nobody wants to feel hurt and sad. How to avoid it?

My advice is to remain ‘SOBER’ – a very strange thing to say but it’s quite possible to get ‘drunk’ with emotions and feelings.

Think about it….

When you are overly negative, sad and angry then you can easily slip into the world of sadness and anxiety which may lead to depression. The same cycle stands for being constantly ecstatic and overexcited. You get this instant initial rush which makes you feel wonderful before falling off the cliff into the sea of the dull reality.

If you are just able to find the golden middle and balance your emotions then you will save yourself a lot of heartache & energy.  Welcome to your life healthy enjoyment & sensible way of coping with not so glamorous happenings. Active meditation and acknowledgement of the present moment is crucial in this process. By exercising your mind in to noticing details of ‘ here & now’ you will prevent your brain from overheating which will allow you to stay on the right track instead of tripping over the excess of the modern world.

Don’t Be

Surreal thoughts

Don’t be the abandoned bag in the middle of nowhere when the world is falling appart! Be proud & unique bag of goodness which brings positivity & kindness into the world. Look after yourself facing & destroying  difficult times with your strength.  The most dreadful times don’t last forever!!!
